The 2020 Institute for Rental Housing Studies (IRHS) was held in the beautiful mountains of Park City, Utah last month. If you've never been able to attend this event, you're missing out. This year, more than 75 multifamily executives gathered in a perfectly intimate and relaxed setting to exchange thoughts on today's biggest and most disruptive topics in multifamily. The topic most talked about? The impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI), smart home technology, self-touring and short term rentals. Attendees exchanged ideas and processes on how these technologies are rapidly changing the leasing experience, resident relations and revenue.
Coupled with the thought-provoking meetings, there was plenty of time to collaborate with peers on the slopes too. LeaseHawk's CEO, Mike Mueller, opened his Park City home for all attendees for a High West Distillery whiskey tasting. After a long day of skiing, there's nothing better than some great whiskey, good conversation—and of course, sitting in a hot tub overlooking the mountains.
